The attractions of Kenya come from over 20 national parks and reserves with millions of wild animals and also natural magnificent views. Not to mention but a few, Uhuru Garden, Panari Sky Centre, Karura Forest, Giraffe Centre, Mamba Village, Paint ball Fury Limited, Paradise Lost are some of the recreational tourist and fun destinations to visit and explore with friends and families in Kenya.

1. Giraffe Centre

Set in Nairobi outskirts in the suburb in langata, is the Giraffe Centre which is a short drive from the city centre. The Giraffe Centre functions better in the early hours of the morning with a morning games drive in the Nairobi
National Park which is the home of the four out of the big five.

Followed by a stop at the Sheldrick wildlife trust elephant orphanage, between the hours of 11am and 12pm when the baby elephant moves rapidly without control in the shelter for milk. There after you can then move to the Nariobi Giraffe Centre where you can interact with the endangered Rothschild Giraffes where you hand feed them from a raised viewing desk.

This is an experience you cannot forget in a hurry as it can be done with friend, family members and other loved ones. The most amazing time to visit the Giraffe centre is during the dry season from December to March and June to October. It was built in the 1930s, one major thing that makes the Giraffe Centre special is the population of the endangered Rothschild Giraffes, who will often pop their heads through the open windows while you enjoy the continental meals. However, some rooms lead to private terraces, where you can sit and enjoy the afternoon sun, while you wait for the Giraffes to leisurely walk up in the hope of treats.

2. Nairobi National Park

The Nairobi National Park is one of the major tourist attractions for visitors in Nairobi Kenya. Some amazing thing to explore in the park includes the different bird species, hyena, leopard, cheetah and lion.

As well as the wild beast and zebra migrations in July and August, also the ivory burning site monument and the Nairobi Safari walk and animal orphanage. Also the park has a wildlife conservation education centre which has lectures and videos which

shows about wildlife and tours of the park. It was officially opened in 1946 which is the first national park established in Kenya.

3. GP-Karting in Nairobi, Kenya

In Nairobi, there are three main spots where you can go for GP-Karting and basically the three GP-Karting spots have strict safety measures on ground to ensure the safety of all guests. It is one the largest tracks in Africa having a length of 1.2km and width of 8meters. Apparently, apart from it being a GP Karting Spot, it is also a host for motor-biking and car racing.
  • Mad Max Karting at two River Mall: Mad Max Karting at two river mall, is the newest GP-Karting spot in Nairobi. It has 400 metre racing track.

4. Paintball Fury Limited:

It is the number one paintball company in Kenya, with about 5 of the biggest and most populous paintball venues which you can choose from. Paintball Fury Limited guarantees fun for both small and large group of people which includes the accuracy speed competitive tournaments.

This is a place for extreme fun and pleasure, another amazing thing about paintballing is that you don’t need any particular sporting ability, and its possible for both men and women and as well people of all ages and of all levels of fitness, to participate on equal footing.

5. Paradise Lost, Nairobi

Due to its attractive nature, when people visit, they cannot stop finding a comparison between this concealed gem and the surrounding country side.  It is situated in the middle of a coffee farm which is close to Kiambu Town, about 10km from Nairobi Paradise Lost is one of the places that enhances the innumerable excitements and pleasurable events and activities for friends and loved ones.

6. Bomas of Kenya:

Bomas of Kenya is a living museum displaying and celebrates the rich cultures of the Kenyan nation. It is an amazing place to learn things about the culture, lifestyle, music and art of each and evert tribe in the village.

The Bomas village features one of the largest auditoriums in Africa with a capacity of 3000. The Kenyan tradition is rich in music and dances with live percussions, string and wind instruments of about 50 different ethnic communities.

It is located in Langata, Nairobi approximately 10 kilometres from the central business district. Boma simply means a home stead, which implies that Bomas is in plural it was established in 1971 by the government as a subsidiary company of Kenya Tourist Development Corporation as a tourist attraction.

The best time to visit the Bomas is during the dry season between July and October and also in January
and February. The Bomas of Kenya also has an amazing restaurant, which is the Utamaduni restaurant, it is basically the first of its kid in Kenya.

7. Mamba Village Centre, Mombasa:

It is the largest crocodile farm in Africa which also has a riding area for camels and horses alongside a botanical garden. The Mamba village Centre has the most famous and oldest crocodile which goes
by the name Big Daddy which is over 100 years old.

Aquarium, snake park museum and a fish farm are other forms of attractions the Manba village centre possesses. Feeding time is another delightful time when the crocodiles comes out clearly to feed. The Manba village centre, also has restaurants like

8. Karura Forest:

Karura is a forest in Nairobi, for walking and cycling. Walking in the Karura forest is very pleasurable and fun it is very busy forest because of the numerous fun activities. There are many varieties of flowers which are very
beautiful and gorgeous, it is an amazing place for indoor outings. The Karura forest also has a large forest park with small water falls, you can as well ride in the forest, take a walk, run, jug or even have a picnic.

The scenery is beautiful and second to none as it gives you an enjoyable feeling of a national forest park,
lush green trees mountains, waters and animals and as well gives you an opportunity to live peacefully with people and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

9. Uhuru Garden:

It gives you the opportunity to explore the 24meter high monument commemorating Kenya’s struggle for independence which is the Centre piece of attraction at the Uhuru Garden.

The monument has at one side, a statue of freedom fighters, raising the Kenyan flag, about a hundred meters,
away is another monument with a fountain. Uhuru Garden is situated in the Langata area of Nairobi, bordering carnivore restaurant to the south and airport to the east.

10. Panari sky centre:

It is a state of the art architectural building found along Mombasa road. It is renowned for its ice staking rink. Basically, the ice staking rink in Panari Sky Centre is the only one of its kind in east Africa. The Panari Centre
